Every child deserves a voice.

CROW with us at Communities for the Restoration of Wellbeing.

Honor dignity. Choose joy. Find belonging.

At Edventures LLC, we facilitate gathering spaces where caregivers and families find resonance. Through the CROW project—Communities for the Restoration of Wellbeing—we empower caregivers to partner authentically with public schools, ensuring that the narratives of our families lead the way in educational policy and practice.

Collective restoration is built one squawk at a time. We choose possibility over deficit, centering dignity and joy to foster a future where every child truly belongs. Together, we are bridging the gap between institutional systems and lived experience, building a world where every caregiver is heard and every story is valued.

Dignity

We see you fully. Your story,

your identity, your truth.

Joy

We choose possibility over deficit. Always.

Belonging

You are not alone in this.

We gather here.

One squawk at a time, we heal.

Hello!

Kristin Baillie is the District Behavior Specialist and MTSS Coordinator for Edenton-Chowan Public Schools and a doctoral candidate in Leadership & Innovation at Arizona State University. She studies how narrative identity, counterstorytelling, and intersectionality illuminate student experiences with exclusionary discipline in rural settings. Her dissertation, Countering Exclusion: Stories of Intersectionally Marginalized Youth, uses qualitative narrative inquiry to analyze how race, gender, disability, and place shape disciplinary encounters and belonging.

Kristin holds an M.Ed. from Elon University, a B.S. in Elementary Education from Elizabeth City State University, and licensure in ESL, AIG, and Special Education. She leads districtwide MTSS systems development, restorative practice implementation, and behavioral intervention design. Her recent projects include the RE3 restorative ISS model and L.E.A.D. data analysis protocol. She is also a 2025-2026 NC Public School Forum Education Policy Fellow and National LiberatED Fellow.
